Tribute to the Irish Freedom Fighters of the Easter Rising 1916
On the 24th of April 1916 members of the Irish Republican Brotherhood took control of the Dublin post office and declared independance from the United Kingdom, the British Army sent 16'000 soldiers in response, the Irish freedom fighters held out for days of shelling and assaults by the British forces, once the Rising was defeated, the British Army executed many Irish republicans, many of whom had little to do with the rising, this en-raged the Irish population and lead to years of fighting for independance and a civil war, the end result was a free, democratic Irish republic, but the Northern part of Ireland which is mostly Unionist remains part of the United Kingdom. (And for the record - I do not supported the Provincial IRA terrorist group in any way.)

@@karzhas14 It is true, Russia wants to be the biggest guy or she don't want to be part of any group. You guys are too much proud, just like the Brits who did Brexit. Like little baby that always need things his way. Like honestly I would like to see Russia strong with Europe, but it can't be done with your current goverment. Also Russia people are too tolerant of their goverment, even though your goverment are purposely making your citizens poor and with imperialistic propaganda education. Most Russians I have met in my country they refuse to speak any other language than Russia because of her greatness. Even the Communists generals before the fall of USSR, they were living here like pigs in paradise, as "Red Nobility", walking with big nose acting like they own it here. People remembers it, Merkel did a lot for good relationship with Russia, yet they don't want to get on the same line with others, they Russians need to be above.
